I have had many experiences with IKEA's ready-to-assemble furniture. Misreading the manual and omission details often make me awkward and frustrated when facing the extra screws, wobbly tables, and cabinets with the handles reversed.

This time we tried to assemble a chair by intentionally misreading or ignoring the assembly instructions manual. The finished chair lost its original purpose, but seemed to have more characteristics. It looks like it's from IKEA, but it also like a misfit freak.

We brought it back to IKEA and placed it in the cozy show room. It has the same tag as all the other furniture there, and it seems to fit in perfectly, barely getting any attention from customers or staff. But when you give it a little attention, it looks abnormal.
